- Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office 5, is issuing this request for information notice to identify entities that could provide corrective maintenance to the UroNav Fusion Biopsy equipment and updates to the Invivo software for Washington DC Medical Center (DCVAMC). Description of Work The contractor will provide all resources necessary to perform preventive inspections and annual preventive maintenance services on the UroNav Fusion Biopsy equipment and update software located in the DCVAMC. The Contractor will provide updates to the Invivo software and one (1) day of on-site applications training. Parts deliveries for repairs will be next day and remote access to the system is not guaranteed by the Government. Technical Qualifications Contractor technicians must be trained and certified by the equipment manufacturers to perform inspection and maintenance services on this type of biopsy equipment, authorization to update software and have experience doing such in a hospital setting. Interested & Capable Responses NCO 5 is seeking responses from entities that are interested in this procurement and consider themselves to have the resources, capabilities, and qualifications necessary to provide these services. Please respond with your: 1. Business name, business type, socio-economic status (e.g., Veteran-Owned, Woman-Owned, Disadvantaged Small Business, 8(a), etc.), and person of contact (including telephone number & email address). 2. Capability statement and summary of previous experience providing sterilizer inspection & maintenance services for the Veterans Health Administration or other similar healthcare facilities. 3. GSA contract number, if your company has one, that includes line items covering these types of services in the Washington, DC geographical area. Responses must be submitted by 4:00 PM (EST) August 16, 2021. Responses to the information requested above must be submitted via email to veronica.dillard@va.gov. This request for information/sources sought notice is for planning purposes ONLY. The results of this market research will assist in the development of (1) the requirement, and (2) the acquisition strategy (e.g., small business set-aside, full and open competition, etc.). VA assumes no responsibility for any costs incurred associated with the preparation of responses submitted as a result of this notice.
