Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation number is 273FCC21Q0032 and is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541330. This requirement is unrestricted. This is a Request for Quote to provide qualified personnel to perform radio frequency investigative support services and general equipment maintenance and support services for the FCC. All duties required of the contractor shall be within the general scope of work required by the Commission, which is to investigate possible violations of the Communications Act of 1934, as amended (Act), the Commissions Rules (Rules), or Commission orders in Alaska. The FCC plans to award a Labor Hour purchase order with a not-to-exceed budget for travel expenses to obtain the services described in the attached Statement of Work (Attached Investigation Services SOW for Alaska). The FCC estimates that the period of performance for these services will be from date of award (approximately August 27, 2021) through August 2022 for the base year and 4 additional option years. The FCC estimates that approximately 90 hours of work per year are required. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) at www.sam.gov prior to submission of quotations to be eligible for award. Lack of SAM registration will make a contractor ineligible for award. The FCC anticipates a not-to-exceed travel budget of $5,000.00 and this figure may be included in your quote as part of the overall price. However, any travel must be approved in advance by the Contracting Officers Representative (COR) and billed in accordance with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR). Please provide a quote stating your hourly labor rates for the 2021 base year as well as the subsequent four option years. The Government intends to make a single award in response to this solicitation. Award may be made with no discussion; therefore, it is imperative that the quote provide sufficient detail to demonstrate the technical requirements can be met. Please see the attached Statement of Work and Instructions to Vendors for more Information.
