Description

DoD HIV prevention programs in collaboration with other U.S. Government, nongovernmental organizations, and United Nations programs. DoD HIV/AIDS Prevention Progam (DHAPP), a division of the Public Health Directorate, Combat Support, of the Defense Health Agency, provides day?to?day direction of the DoD effort to support foreign militaries with their HIV prevention and treatment program in over 50 countries worldwide. DHAPP prepares and delivers periodic reports and provides the results of assessments to the Office of the Global AIDS Coordinator and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Services, Policy and Oversight.
