Description

This is a Special Notice of Intent to award a sole source Firm Fixed-Price contract to LexisNexis located at 1150 18th Street NW Washington DC 20036.�The period-of-performance will have a base-year and four (4) additional option periods. The total period-of-performance will be for five (5) years if all options are exercised. LexisNexis is the sole provider of LexisNexis research solutions, including feature and functionality, found on the Lexis+ platform. In addition, LexisNexis is the exclusive provider of LexisNexis Corporate Affiliations, Matthew Bender Publications, Accurint, Nexis Newsdesk, Nexis Dossier, Lexis Diligence, and the Shepards Citation Service. LexisNexis Accurint solutions are exclusive to LexisNexis, utilizing proprietary Smartlinx reports to deliver connections and results. There are no authorized resellers through GSA, FEDLINK, or the Open Market providing access to LexisNexis research platforms. �� This proposed contract action is for supplies/services for which the Government intends to solicit and receive only one quote from only one source in accordance with�FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(i)(B) only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested entities may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by August 10, 2021 at 11:00am Eastern Standard Time (EST).� A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.� Capabilities received will not obligate the Government to make an award. If any vendors would like to inquire about subcontract opportunities, please contact the vendor directly.
