- Description
- This requirment is limited to qualified sources. See attached SQS to submit package for qualification. Work consists of one of two efforts: Test, teardown, and evaluation (TT&E) only or TT&E and repair ofRF Amplifier, NSN 5996015642666GO, P/N1072337. This RF Amp is critical to the Antenna, S-Band, 5 that goes on the Ground Antenna Station. The LNA is an un-cooled, broadband low noise amplifier designed for use in portable or fixed satellite earth terminals. It shall include an input isolator. The noise figure must be met with this isolator and any arbitrary input impedance. The LNA must also be unconditionally stable with no oscillations. This was commercially produced by Viasat. Degradation of these may result in a loss of functionality to the Ground Antenna Station in the GPS systems.
