- Description
- SLUICE GATE & BUTTERFLY VALVE REPAIR, OOLOGAH LAKE, OK This project requires the contractor to furnish all plant, material, equipmenr, labor, instruments, tools, subcontractors, supervision, management and travel necessary to complete: 1. Develop and submit a crane placement plan for government approval. 2. Install bulkhead at the low flow intake. Develop and submit a diving plan. Inspect the butterfly valve and prepare a ""butterfly valve inspection report"". Repair butterfly valve based on repair procedures prepared by government based on inspection findings. 3. Repack knife valve stem. Blast and paint the gate valves to include the butterfly valve, knife valve, and all associated piping system and supports. 4. Inspect the service gate dogging device located at Bay #4 and prepare a ""dogging device inspection report"". Repair dogging device based on repair procedures prepared by government based on inspection findings. 5. Remove top and side seals and the roller assembly. Blast and paint the service gate located at Bay #4 to extents shown on contract drawings. After painting procedures, reinstall gate seals and roller assembly. Perform gate rehabilitation to include installing PE-UHMW, installing new weight ballasts, and adjusting the bottom seal to prevent leakage. Perform leakage tests. Option 1 1. Remove top and side seals and the roller assembly. Blast and paint the service gate located at Bay #3 to extents shown on contract drawings. After painting procedures, reinstall gate seals and roller assembly. Perform gate rehabilitation to include installing PE-UHMW, installing new weight ballasts, and adjusting the bottom seal to prevent leakage. Perform leakage tests. � Option 2 1. Remove top and side seals and the roller assembly. Blast and paint the service gate located at Bay #2 to extents shown on contract drawings. After painting procedures, reinstall gate seals and roller assembly. Perform gate rehabilitation to include installing PE-UHMW, installing new weight ballasts, and adjusting the bottom seal to prevent leakage. Perform leakage tests. � Option 3 1. Remove top and side seals and the roller assembly. Blast and paint the service gate located at Bay #1 to extents shown on contract drawings. After painting procedures, reinstall gate seals and roller assembly.
