- This notice is not a request for proposals. This presolicitation/synopsis notice is published in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.101(a)(1) requiring the dissemination of information regarding proposed contract actions and FAR 5.204 requiring dissemination of information for presolicitation notices. The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT) has a Construction requirement to repair the existing platform on Tower 2060 at the Atlantic Undersea Test and Evaluation Center (AUTEC), located on Andros Island, Bahamas.� The repair work consists of the removal of the existing radome cover, replacement of the existing steel decking that makes up the interior of the floor of the radome, removal and replacement of the steel I-beams which pass under the radome assembly, removal and replacement of associated nuts and bolts, and an exact OEM radome cover replacement for what is currently installed. This solicitation will be issued as a 100% small business set aside. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code for this acquisition is 236220 with a size standard of $39.5 Million. Magnitude of Project per FAR 36.204 is between between $100,000 and $250,000. The Government anticipates award of a single firm fixed price type contract. The project will be awarded by 9/31/2021.� Completion will be 180 days after notice to proceed. �All responsible and fully responsive small business firms may submit an offer which will be considered by the Agency. Solicitation/Request for Quote (RFQ) will be made available for download on or about Aug 20, 2021 at https://beta.sam.gov/ Each potential offeror is responsible for checking the beta.SAM website to gain all current information related to the solicitation. The estimated due date for proposals will be Sep 17, 2021; however, the actual date offers are due will be stated within the solicitation documents. NOTE: TECHNICAL INFORMATION IS REQUIRED AS PART OF PROPOSAL SUBMISSION- PLEASE CAREFULLY REVIEW SECTIONS AND L AND M OF THE SOLICITATION All Offerors doing business with the Government are required to be registered with SYSTEM FOR AWARD MANAGEMENT (SAM) (this replaces the former CCR and ORCA).
