- Solicitation #12445021Q0032 Project Title: Housekeeping Services - Sabana Field Research Station (SFRS) USDA Forest Service required Housekeeping services for the Sabana Field Research Station (SFRS) six buildings located at Road 983 INT 988 KM 6.5 Luquillo, PR 00773 (see maps). The contractor shall plan, program, administer, manage, and execute the work necessary to provide housekeeping services in accordance with all federal, state, local laws and regulations, commercial standard practices and this Statement of Work (SOW). Contractor shall maintain satisfactory conditions and present a clean, neat, and professional appearance.�Services will include but not limited to sweep & mop floors, dusting, general dusting, trash & recycling pickup, screen & window cleaning, kitchen countertops & sinks, bathrooms, outside building perimeter, etc. as per Section 5.0 Scope of Work/Schedule of this Statement of Work. The anticipated award date is 1st September 2021. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) for this requirement is 561720 Housekeeping and Janitorial Services and the size standard is $19.5M. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this solicitation. IMPORTANT Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) to receive a federal contract. Offerors must answer PAST EXPERIENCE QUESTIONNAIRE (Attachment #3) Offers/Quotes are due on 10 August 2021 at 1159PM EST (Eastern Standard Time) Send estimates/quotes to Nestor Rivera Gonzalez at nestor.riveragonzalez@usda.gov and courtesy copy to Amelia Davila at Amelia.Davila-garcia@usda.gov Period of Performance 9/01/2021 to 8/31/2022 (12 months) - Approx. with 4 Option years Contractor Requirements Complex is composed of six buildings: a)�������� Administration/Communications/Law Enforcement Office (LEO): 1,539 sq ft, approx. b)�������� Ecosystems: 726 sq ft, approx. c)�������� Laboratory: 752 sq ft, approx. d)�������� Researcher Offices/Modular Unit: 1,300 sq ft, approx. e)�������� Dormitory: 1,822 sq ft, approx. f)�������� Multipurpose (Previously Woodshop): 3,000 sq ft, approx. Housekeeping tasks are described in Section 5.0 Scope of Work/Schedule of this Statement of Work. The Contractor will adhere to and enforce all applicable local safety regulations. The Contractor shall report any accidents, injuries, fires, or other incidents to the COR immediately.� If incidents requiring emergency response occurs, should call 911 immediately.� Contractor personnel shall wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) for the task being performed. In relation to the COVID response, the Contractor should follow the safety guidance by the CDC, the USDA, and the PR Health Department. The Contractor shall protect government property. When cleaning laboratories, Contractor should not move equipment or instruments; and never clean surfaces that are in use at the time. Deliverables / Schedule.�� (SEE SECTION B and SOW, Attached Solicitation) The Contractor must designate a Project Manager (PM) as the single point of contact (POC) for award management. The PM must have the authority to make decisions for the Contractor and must be the single Contractor representative responsible for all issues, concerns, or problems for this award instrument.
