BLADE Contracting Officer Page 2 of 2 CONTINUATION PAGE Questions and Answers RFQ 36C35621Q1452 SOW 3) Room Requirements f.:  Continental breakfast will be available to lodger patients on a daily basis.  The hotel will be responsible for tracking which lodgers have taken advantage of the continental breakfast and communicating this information with their Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System lodging coordinator.  Question: Continental breakfast is available to all occupants and included in the lodging rate.  It is open to all the guest and we have no way of tracking which guests enjoy breakfast and which do not.  Will you please remove the tracking requirements as everyone has the option of breakfast?                       Answer: Yes; see updated SOW. Question: SOW 3) Room Requirements i.:  Will you allow the hotel to request a credit card from the veteran at check-in for incidentals? Answer: NO Question: SOW 3) Room Requirements n.:  As part of our Environmentally Friendly program bed linens are changed every 3 days or as needed/requested by the occupant.  Will you allow change of bed linens every 3 days or as needed/requested?   Answer: NO Question: SOW 3) Room Requirements g.:  Will you allow a veteran sign-up sheet for transportation needs to accompany any necessary scheduled transportation? Answer: YES-this protocol will need to be communicated to the Veteran and kept on record in the event a complaint arises.  If a hotel employee neglects to have a Veteran sign the sign-in sheet they will need to be shuttled in between scheduled shuttles.
