- *�04 Aug 2021 -� Posted Solicitation Amendment 0001.� Amendment changes bid due date from 9 Aug 2021, 9:00 am CST to 10 Aug 2021, 2:00 pm CST.� Amendment also changes bid validity date in block 13d of the 1442 from 180 calendar days to 52 calendar days.� Clause 52.216-4 is added to Section I and Questions & Answers form pre-bid site visit are added to section J as Attachment 06. * 15 JULY 2021 - Posted: Site Visit meeting minutes and sign-in sheet. This project is being solicited under AFFARS MP5332.7. �Notice to Offeror(s)/Suppliers(s): Funds are not presently available for this effort. �No award will be made under this solicitation until funds are available. �The Government reserves the right to cancel this solicitation, either before or after the closing date. �In the event the Government cancels this solicitation, the Government has no obligation to reimburse an offeror for any costs. � The Scope of Work is to convert the hangar doors from manual operation to a motorized system. This repair will bring the hangar doors up to current code standards by adding the appropriate alarm/warning system, door controls, and signage to accompany the new motorized system. �Work includes controllers, mounting brackets, warning lights, warning horns with a delay, safety switch tie-in to the existing two personnel doors, and the operators. New power provisions will be run from an existing panel in the electrical room to a point at the back of the each hangar door pocket. Door operator motors will be 3-Phase power and UL-listed. Also included in the work scope is the replacement of hangar door side and base seals; preparing and painting of the 8' high steel plate cladding on the lower portion of each hangar door leaf interior face; and preparing and painting of personnel doors frames inside and out. � A site visit will be held for this project on 15 July 2021 at 0900 hrs CST.� See IFB for details and reporting requirements.�� � The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this project is 238190 with a size standard of $16.5M. �If a contract is awarded, it will be in accordance with FAR Part 14, Sealed Bidding and Part 36 Construction. �Additionally, FAR Part 19, Small Business Programs, will be utilized as this acquisition is set-aside 100% for Woman Owned Small Business. � Performance period is 228 calendar days after Notice to Proceed. �The contract will be a single award, Firm-Fixed Price contract. � In accordance with FAR 36.204(e) the magnitude for this project is less than $500,000. �Bid bonds will be required with offers bid and will be used in determining if an offer is responsive. �Payment and performance bonds will be required within ten (10) days of contract award. �The work is in support of the 1st Special Operations Civil Engineer Squadron.� �
