Description

The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR), NAS Patuxent River, MD, intends to negotiate and award a fixed price type contract on a sole source basis with Northrop Grumman Systems Corporation � Aerospace Systems (NGAS), San Diego, CA under the Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Contract N00019-20-G-0005 modification to current Delivery Order N0001921F0806.� The purpose of this action is to procure hardware with known Last Time Buy (LTB) dates to address Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) within MQ-4C Triton Unmanned Aircraft System (UAS).� Northrop Grumman is the sole designer, developer, and integrator of the Trion UAS.� Accordingly, it is the only contractor with the requisite knowledge and experience to provide Triton specific hardware required for these efforts within the program�s cost and schedule constraints. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, �Only one Responsible Source and No Other Type of Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements� for the proposed LTB actions.� THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.
