- Description
- Brand name 100% SB set aside. See attached documentation. Vendor question/s I would need to know more about the expected use of the mounts to know whether equatorial wedge mountings and dovetail saddles are required, If you can provide more information, such as what instruments will be installed on the mounts and how the mounts will be installed, I will be able to provide a more definite cost. Government Answer We do not need any equatorial wedges or other accessories for this purchase. The mounts will be used in Alt-Az configurations with two exceptions. For those exceptions, the wedges were purchased separately. Additionally, the Rotating Focusers with required controllers were also purchased separately. Officina Stellare ProRC-500 telescopes, similar to the Planewave CDK20, will be installed on the mounts. The Dovetail Saddle, Planewave part number 200919, is the one that comes standard with the L-500 mount for mounting 17 to 20 inch telescopes. So there shouldnt be any extra cost for the required saddle.
