- Description
- The Defense Logistics Agency-Aberdeen, on behalf of the Army Integrated Logistics Supply Center (ILSC), intends to acquire parts to support the O-1876/G Frequency Standard, aka the 5071A Primary Frequency Standard. Requirements Description: The 5071A Primary Frequency Standard is a clock of very high accuracy; it is accurate to one second every 162,000 years. It uses Cesium decay as a time reference. The 5071A Primary Frequency Standard is used for time synchronization in telecommunication, satellite communication, and navigation systems. This requirement addresses only the 5071A Primary Frequency Standards that are installed in the US Army legacy satellite communication systems. In this requirement, the Government is not looking into replacing the 5071A Primary Frequency Standard with new technology because the Government is already upgrading the legacy satellite communication systems that integrate this clock. The Government is looking for an interim source of supply that will fulfill the sustainment requirement for the 5071A Primary Frequency Standard in the legacy satellite communication systems until the new satellite communication systems are in place. The Government does not own any rights to the technical data that is required to design, develop, or manufacture O-1876/G Frequency Standard and its spare parts. The product requirements are described in CECOM Specification Control Drawing, A3187968. A copy of this drawing can be supplied upon written request to Vladimir Shapovalov (vladimir.s.shapovalov.civ@mail.mil). The drawing does not provide form, fit and function details, or the technical data, which are required to produce these items. The form fit and function of these items are not defined by any nationally recognized industry standard or specification. The contractor shall be required to establish a facility including tools, test equipment, parts, personnel, etc., required to meet the manufacturing requirements of the contract The table below provides the NSN, Vendor Part Number, and Name that constitute the supply requirements for 5071A Primary Frequency Standard: NSN | Vendor Part Number | Description 6625014107453 | 5071A, Options 001, 913, H10 | Frequency Standard, Primary 5895014232215 | 05071-68013 | Front Panel 7025014071424 | 05071-68002TM | CCA, CBT Controller 7021014134751 | 05071-68003TM | Computer 5963014071426 | 05071-60272TM | CCA, 87 MHZ PLL 5998014071427 | 05071-68006TM | CCA, Servo 5998014549827 | 05071-68007 | Interface, CCA 5998014071430 | 05071-68008TM | CCA, 1 PPS 5963014071342 | 05071-60292 | CCA, 1 PPS, Multi Distribution Amp 5963014071344 | 05071-68010 | CCA, Multiplier 5998014549992 | 05071-68029 | Output Power Steering, CCA 5963014071346 | 05071-68012 | CCA, Converter DC-DC 5963014071347 | 05071-68014 | Signal Amplifier 5963014071278 | 05071-60215 | 9.2 GHZ Oscillator Module 5963014071345 | 05071-60216 | HV Power Supply 5960014071350 | 10891A | Electron Cesium Tube 5963014071348 | 05071-68018 | 9.2 GHZ PLL Module 5963014071277 | 05071-60294 | Quartz Oscillator Requested Response Information: Interested sources shall send a capability statement to The US Army CECOM Integrated Logistics Support Center, Attn: Vladimir Shapovalov (vladimir.s.shapovalov.civ@mail.mil), and the response shall include the following information: demonstration that that he possesses, or shall possess, the complete technical manufacturing data and technical expertise necessary to produce these items, adequate production plant facilities (equipment, tooling, space) and technical expertise to enable him, or his subcontractors to manufacture these items; company name and CAGE code; address; phone number; point of contact; e-mail address; business size status. At a minimum the support information you submit should include, but is not limited to, the following types of documentation: Questionnaire (see attached).
