Description

This is an Intent to Sole Source, this is NOT a solicitation for proposals, proposal abstracts, of quotations. The purpose of this notice is to provide information based on this requirement. MICC-Fort Knox, 199 6th Avenue, Fort Knox, KY 40121, on behalf of the U.S. Army Mission Support Battalion, 185 9th Cavalry Regiment Avenue, Fort Knox, KY 40121 intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price sole source award to Future Farmers of America Inc., 6060 FFA Drive, PO Box 68960, Indianapolis, IN 46268-0960. Future Farmers of America Inc. is the sole source to provide the rental of booth space at the FFA Convention located at the Indiana Convention Center, 100 South Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46255. This sole source award to the Future Farmers of America is in accordance with 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented by way of the procedures outline in the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) subpart 13.5. This Sole Source is authorized under FAR subpart 13.106-1(b) - soliciting from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of this contract action deems only one source reasonably available. This is not a request for competitive offers, quotes, or capability statements. No solicitation will be posted as a result of this notice. This notice complies with FAR 5.101. This Special Notice is being issued for information purpose only. The formal Justification & Approval for this action shall be posted on this site in accordance with FAR Part 6.305(a) within 14 days after final award.
