Description

At the conclusion of this contract, the MAAF will have a modern and comprehensive capability for extracting data from all models of the SRVIVR� recorder, in addition to the existing F-22/F-15/F-35 capability. As part of this contract, the MAAF requires: � The contractor shall modify the existing CDES (hardware and software) as necessary to enable extraction of data from any SRVIVR� recorder � In addition to the modification of the existing CDES, contractor shall provide a backup/testing desktop and associated CDES software (no other CDES hardware required to meet this requirement) � The solution shall enable MAAF personnel to download (1) an undamaged recorder without opening or disassembling the unit and (2) a damaged recorder down to the circuit board(s) and chip-level within the recorder � The solution shall allow MAAF personnel to select a SRVIVR to download from a list of aircraft types (e.g. F-15 EX, B-2A, B-52, etc.) � The contractor shall provide additional representative hardware, if needed, to verify functionality of the system for SRVIVR downloads � The contractor shall be responsible for obtaining sample recorder(s) to be used in the performance of the task. � The contractor shall be responsible for procuring or providing all data necessary to download and/or otherwise communicate with the recorder � As new versions of the recorder are introduced in the future, the library should be easily upgradeable to include these variants. � The contractor shall provide training on the use of the modified CDES � The contractor shall provide an electronic Users Manual (or equivalent) for operating the CDES IV.
