- Notice of Intent to limit sources under FAR 8.405-6 The Government hereby submits a notice of intent to award a sole source firm fixed price Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) task order for a one-year pilot program for telecommunications expense management (TEM) support in an effort to reduce telecommunications costs, improve mobile device provisioning, and provide activation support to end-users. The TEM solution will directly support government staff at the U.S. Army Recruiting Command (USAREC) in managing the inventory, requisitioning, delivery, activation, on-going mobile cellular services management. The TEM solution will provide recurring reports that identify cost optimization opportunities; identify and recommend solutions for patterns in billing discrepancies; usage statistics, regardless of carrier; and, provide enhanced visibility into the wireless service portfolio enabling management to identify waste and cost avoidance opportunities. The services are provided under FSS Contract GS-35F-0232N. A 12-month Task Order will be issued to WidePoint Integrated Solutions Corp. (WidePoint) 11250 Waples Mill Road, South Tower, Suite 210, Fairfax Virginia 22030 in the estimated amount of $549,223.00 for the performance period of September 20, 2021 through September 19, 2022. A redacted limited source justification will be posted in accordance with FAR 8.405-6(a)(2). The determination not to compete this proposed contract action is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered for the purposes of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. This is NOT a request for quotes or proposals.
