- Solicitation Posted: 5 August 2021 ******************************************************************************************************* The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Nashville District anticipates is issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a firm fixed price construction contract for the removal of existing exhaust fan systems, ductwork, and other miscellaneous items, and the installation of one (1) new 5-ton packaged heat pump that will service the downstream side of the operations building, and one(1) 6-ton packaged heat pump that will service the upstream side of the operations buildings at Ft. Loudoun Lock in Lenoir, TN. The estimated value of this project is between $250,000 and $500,000. A site visit is�scheduled for 18 August 2021 at 10:30am Eastern Time.� Vendors who are interested in participating in the site visit are strongly encouraged to submit the site visit request forms as soon as possible to avoid missing the form submission deadline. In accordance with the recently updated guidance by the CDC, all Federal employees and onsite Contractors - regardless of vaccine status, are to wear a mask in an indoor setting in installations adn other facilities owned, leased or otherwise controlled by DoD.� Questions regarding this project must be submitted in writing and sent via e-mail to Contract Specialist Samantha (Dani) Harrison at Samantha.D.Harrison@usace.army.mil.
