Description

REASON FOR SOLE SOURCE: �Based upon the market research, our office identified LexisNexis as the company that could perform the work identified. The requirement is for a proprietary service. �The reason why we choose LexisNexis for this specific requirement; the three major public records companies operate separate of one another. Therefore, NCIS is required to set up services with each individual public records company to create/maintain the fictitious public records, alert NCIS to queries involving the undercover�s alias and true name, and suppress any unwanted information (such as crossover information between alias and true name). For that reason, LexisNexis is the sole source for this specific requirement. Services provided by the other two major public records companies will be set up under separate requirements.
