- PAO PAVILION AND RECREATION IMPROVEMENTS The U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Region has a requirement to supply/ provide a Pavilion and Recreation Improvements to the Provo Area Office (PAO). This requirement is being procured in accordance with Parts 13 and 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations as a 100% small business set aside. The Bureau of Reclamation intends to issue a competitive solicitation for this requirement. The projected magnitude of this construction project is between $100,000 and $250,000. PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The principal components of the work are listed under the project description below. Provide and install a twenty-four-foot (24-foot) by thirty-four-foot (34-foot) metal prefabricated pavilion, electrical and concrete slab-on-grade. This work includes: A. Remove and dispose of existing materials within limits of work shown on the demolition drawing Sheet 60036 per Specification Section 02 41 00 - Demolition. B. Remove and dispose of two volleyball net metal posts, concrete footings and concrete sidewalk scheduled for demolition. C. Excavate existing volleyball court sand and existing soils to the required depth of twelve inches below adjacent concrete sidewalks per Specification Section 31 23 00 - Excavation and Backfill. Footings depth per manufactures engineered shop drawings. D. Install and compact six inches of base course per Specification Section 32 11 00 - Base Courses and 31 23 02 - CQT - Compacting Earth Materials in areas to receive concrete. E. Trench for a 1-inch electrical conduit per Specification Section 26 05 33 - Electrical Conduit, stub electrical conduits to both eastside footing of the pavilion. Run electrical to the southwest corner of the building and attach to the exterior. Run conduit back to electrical panel L1D1 and connect to circuit 50-amp breakers 39 & 41. See sheet 60040 for more information. F. Install pavilion footings per manufactures engineered shop drawings in the locations shown on sheet 60038. G. Install 3-inch PVC drainage pipe from pavilion gutter downspouts to parking lot per sheet 60038. H. Install 6-inch 4000 psi 37-foot by 64-foot concrete slab-on-grade matching adjacent concrete elevations per drawing sheets 60038 and Specification section 03 30 00 - Cast-In-Place Concrete. I. Paint basketball half court lines per NCAA standards out to three-point line. Provide and Install a 24-foot by 34-foot pavilion per Specification section 13 34 00 � Pre-engineered Metal Structures and manufactures engineered drawings. L. Install ten (10) LED surface mounted exterior light fixtures, 60-minute light switch timer, two (2) weatherproof (GFCI) duplex receptacles per sheet 60040, Specification Section 26 56 00 - Exterior Lighting, 26 27 30 - Wiring Devices, 26 05 33 - Electrical Conduit, 26 05 20 - Grounding and Bonding and 26 05 10 - Conductors and Cables M. Slope grade at edge of concrete per detail A/4 on sheet 60039 and reinstall river rock on new geotextile fabric. NAICS AND SIZE STANDARD: The NAICS code for this project is 236220 with a small business size standard of $39.5 million. SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The release date for the final and formal solicitation number 140R4021Q0076 is anticipated in early August 2021.
