- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to negotiate a Cost-Plus-Fixed-Fee (CPFF) delivery order on a sole source basis under Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-20-G-0002 for Failure Analysis on the Navy Underwater Active Multiple Ping (NUAMP) AN/SSQ-113 series F2 and F7 sonobuoys and implementation of Corrective Actions to ERAPSCO, 4578 East Park 30 Drive, Columbia City, IN� 46725-8869. This tasking is the result of the NUAMP Acoustic System Certification Report. Contract action award is planned to occur in 2nd Quarter FY22. The failure analysis period of performance is anticipated to be six month with corrective actions performance no more than six months. The authority permitting other than full and open competition is provided in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, �Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements.� For subcontracting opportunities, please contact Scott Newman ERAPSCO/Sonobuoy TechSystems, phone 260-248-3535, email: scott.newman@ultra-ussi.com. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within fifteen days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract action based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
