- This is an Oral Electronic Request for Quote for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 13 Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and the format in Subpart 12.6, as a supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please provide a quote for the items listed below by 2:00 PM (1400) Central European Summer Time (CEST), Thursday 12 August 2021. All questions regarding this Request for Quote are due in writing by 2:00 PM (1400) CEST, Friday 6 August 2021. Questions shall be submitted via email to brandon.george.12@us.af.mil and daira.rodriguez@us.af.mil. The Government has no obligation to answer any questions received after the due date and time. The Government reserves the right to reject any quotations received after the aforementioned date and time. This will be a firm-fixed price contract with two Contract Line Item Numbers (CLIN). Please provide pricing ��������for each CLIN. Vendors must be registered in the SAM.gov database to be eligible for contract award. Total Price We need the Bren-Tronics Flex Charger kit (model BTK-70911-8A) with charging accessories or equal. Charger must be a foldable lightweight expeditionary type charger that can be easily stored in a cargo pocket or small bag/pouch and is no larger than 5in x 5.6in x 3in when folded and no larger than 13.5in x 5.6in x 1.8in unfolded. The charger must have 4 charging positions and be able to charge 2 sets of 2 batteries in less than 6 hours. The charger must have MPPT charging technology and have blackout capabilities for stealth operation. The charger must be capable of operating from a 120 watt solar panel and 120/240 AC. We need the Bren-Tronics 120 watt foldable solar panel or equal. The solar panel must be made of monocrystalline non-glass substrate, foldable, flexible, and lightweight with dimensions no larger than 12.5in x 12.5in x 2.5in when folded and no larger than 59in x 24.5in when unfolded and capable of fitting in a small bag or molly pouch for dismounted operations. The solar panel must be capable of generating 6 amps at 21.5 volts DC, tolerant to partial shading, withstanding impacts, and tolerant to puncture. The Flex Charger and foldable solar panel must have the same style of plug allowing direct connection without the use of extra cables or adapters. All submitted quotes must remain valid for 180 days from close of the RFQ. The Government will review the lowest priced quote for technical acceptability. If that quote is found to be technically acceptable, the Government will not review any other quotes for technical acceptability. If the lowest priced quote is not technically acceptable, the Government will review the next lowest priced quote for acceptability, and if found acceptable, no other quotes will be reviewed. This process will be followed until the Government finds a technically acceptable offer. The Government intends to award without discussions, but reserves the right to enter discussions with offerors as deemed appropriate by the Contracting Officer. The Government reserves the right to conduct interchanges with offerors as deemed appropriate by the Contracting Officer All vendors must be able to validate that they are authorized re-sellers of any quoted equipment if required by the contracting officer.
