- STATEMENT OF WORK (SOW) PORTABLE EKG MACHINE **Brand Name specific needed to be compatible with VISN15 MUSE Cardiology Information System in use by Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center. 1. INTRODUCTION This solicitation is to provide the Veterans Health Administration, Wichita Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) Department with a Portable EKG Machine with attributes equivalent to Cardiosoft CS v6.7 for each team assigned in the department. The Cardiosoft CS v6.7 Diagnostic System Resting ECG application transforms Provider PC into a resting ECG device providing valuable information to Providers while conducting assessments and treatments to Veterans in their home. 2. BACKGROUND HBPC Veterans are often unable to leave their home or at least travel to a CBOC or main VA for EKG s. HBPC does not have a way to check EKG s in the home to monitor for heart rhythm problems that may be caused or worsened by medications. Often those medications have to be stopped or the Veteran/family has to choose to take the risk of heart rhythm problems without knowing what is occurring. The purchase of this software solution/application would enable HBPC Providers during their routine patient visits to check for patients EKGs. 3. SCOPE OF WORK The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to provide a Portable EKG Machine complete with accessories transforming Providers PC into a resting ECG device, along with providing the necessary installation service and initial Providers on-site training for the Wichita Home-Based Primary Care department. Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and non-personal services necessary to provide system installation and training. 4. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS Comprehensive Marquette 12SL ECG analysis program including ACI-TIPI, gender-specific criteria, 12SL with right ventricular involvement measurement and serial presentation of ECGs; 12SL is one of the most validated ECG analysis programs in the industry and has been cited in numerous independent publications. Full disclosure data can be stored in the ECG diagnostic system database and easily accessed remotely via web; robust editing functions make report generation simple and fast. DICOM formatted resting ECG report generated by ECG diagnostic system is automatically exported to PACS workstations, making physician over-read fast and efficient while speeding up patient throughout. Seamless connectivity to Muse cardiology information system for even more workflow efficiencies. Multiple networking options are available. Remote resting ECG acquisition with Citrix® XenDesktop (Windows® 8.1). 5. DELIVERY & LOCATION INFORMATION Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center Building 34 NX Warehouse 5500 East Kellogg Wichita Kansas, 67218
