- THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE ORDER AND NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTATIONS. This contract action is for the acquisition of Services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13.106-l(b). The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS), Office of Acquisitions (OA) intends to award a single source purchase order to Visiopharm Corporation, 7636 Williamson Road, Suite 100, Roanoke, VA 24019, for the acquisition of the Visio Pharm AI module and Visiopharm Architect module software. The VisioPharm AI Image Analysis Module software is required to routinely to provide digital image analysis support for the DNTP/DIR research programs. The software facilitates automatic cell identification on digital images of H&E- and IHC-stained tissue sections allowing time saving automated annotations of objects of interest and can be trained to recognize specific areas of interest or objects for quantification. The software can be applied to entire groups of slides or projects to generate data for the investigator thus eliminating tedious manual workflows and difficult post processing steps to generate accurate data. Additionally, this module adds support for training deep learning classifiers on GPUs and executing deep learning classifiers on GPUs and CPUs.
