- INTRODUCTION The Fleet Readiness Center South East (FRCSE), Jacksonville, FL F-5 Production Line announces its intention to procure a firm fixed price contract.�The F-5 Production Line has the mission of overhauling and repairing F-5 aircraft.� This work is performed onboard Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville inside Hangar 1000.� Various artisan trades work on these aircraft to include sheet metal, aircraft mechanic, electrician, avionic technician, and aircraft systems inspector. This announcement is a Request for Quote (RFQ).��� ELIGIBILITY This requirement is being synopsized as an unrestricted acquisition under the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 336411, Aircraft Manufacturing, Size Standard of 1,500 employees, Product Service Code (PSC) code L015. All interested businesses are encouraged to respond. Specifically, the Government is evaluating the possibility of establishing this requirement as a Small Business/Other Socio-economic Set-Aside. ANTICIPATED PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE 11 Aug 2021 through 10 Aug 2022 ANTICIPATED CONTRACT TYPE This is a firm-fixed price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial offer should represent the vendor's best quote in terms of price and acceptability. REQUIREMENTS Please see attached Solicitation for specifications. SUBMITTAL INFORMATION Technical acceptability will be determined solely on the content and merit of the information submitted in response to this synopsis/solicitation. Therefore, it is incumbent on the offeror to provide sufficient technical literature, documentation, etc. in order for the Government to make an adequate technical assessment of the proposal. Your quote will only be evaluated on the information you provide with your quote. This is firm-fixed price procurement; therefore, the offeror's initial offer should contain the offeror's best terms from a price and technical standpoint.
