- This announcement is a synopsis of our intent to solicit �Administrative Services, Nebraska Department of� directly to fulfill a Nebraska Army National Guard requirement to have access to Nebraska�s Statewide Radio System (SRS) and award a sole source contract to that vendor. �The vendor is registered in SAM as a large business Nebraska National Guard Purchasing and Contracting Office�s intended Solicitation Number:� W91243-21-Q-JC07; Proposed PSC: DG11:� IT and Telecom � Network:� Telecom Access Services � Proposed NAICS: 517919 � All Other Communications Estimated Dollar Amount:� $48,384.00 Requirements Description:� See attached Requirements Description for the information that will be provided to the vendor with the solicitation.� Summary of the requirement and the approved Limited Competition Request:� The Nebraska Statewide Radio System (SRS) is a collective partnership between the State of Nebraska � Office of the Chief Information Officer and the Nebraska Public Power District (NPPD).� These partners built and funded the project to create one statewide shared radio system for community partners and emergency responders to be able to communicate and coordinate with each other, over one network, during emergencies.� The State of Nebraska manages access to the system and charges a nominal fee for each device connected to the communication system.� The Nebraska National Guard�s Joint Operations Center�s and 72nd Civil Support Team�s missions involve working with community partners and emergency responders to provide support during emergencies.� These units need access to the Nebraska SRS for their handheld radios so they can communicate with other emergency responders within the state of Nebraska who are already communicating with each other using the SRS.� Anticipated Award Date:� Current access to Nebraska�s SRS expires 26 September 2021.� We anticipate award prior to 27 September 2021 to renew the access for one year.� Point of Contact for Questions and Responses:� James Cole, Nebraska National Guard Contracting Specialist, via email james.p.cole.civ@mail.mil.� Core Hours:� Our office�s core hours of operation are 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM Central, Tuesday through Thursday.� We observe all federal holidays.
