Description

Coordinate �Catholic Religious Education for Youth and Adults. Plan, Prepare, Conduct training. Establish and maintain religious resource program. Maintain records or classroom attendance, lessons, multimedia used, curriculum. Establish path of communication with the military archdioces. Organize and implement preparation programs for the following Sacraments: Baptism, First Penance, First Communion, & Confirmation. This is to include training sessions for parents and parents� meetings. Communicate details of current and upcoming RE, sacramental, and liturgical programs to the Catholic Community in writing. Prepare funds and facility requests to be presented to the proper chapel staff member. Assist in the development of annual resource requirement planning for both appropriated funds and Chapel Tithes and Offerings Funds (CTOF) budgets, as directed by the Catholic Chaplain/Priest. Ensure that all facilities are properly secured, including all doors and windows, following the conclusion of RE classes and other meetings/programs under the RE purview. Identify, prepare, and submit annual curriculum order, library, and supply requirements for approval. Selection and ordering of annual curriculum will be coordinated with the Catholic Priest. Acquire curriculum for all Catholic chapel sponsored small group studies following the established chapel operating instructions. Maintain current RE and continuity records with electronic backup that includes, but not limited to: Fund Requests, Facility Requests, Calendars, Curriculum, Rosters, Procedures and Training.
