AMENDMENT DATED 8/6/2021 �. DUE DATE IS EXTENDED TO 9/10/2021 4PM MST (AUGUST 10TH) COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION� PURCHASE OF QUANTITY OF 1 DIRECT DROP-IN REPLACEMENT N.I. DATA SYSTEM BRAND REQUIREMENT AND MUST BE AUTHORIZED RESELLER: �The Lidar division (CSL3) NOAA/ESRL/CSL is in need of a Direct drop-in replacement NI data system. B having this Direct drop-in replacement, it will allow us to continue to take the wind data in the event of data system failure. Providing continuous data is a stipulation of the funded proposal that NOAA CSL3 was contractually awarded, therefore meeting NOAA�s mission statement and professional obligations. The current systems use a NI data system. By having the exact same data system as a true drop in spare, we can easily replace the data system while in the field. Any other vendor or product would require considerable time and research in the testing and installation, thus causing loss of data and not meeting NOAA commitments and contractual obligations. Any other product would require considerable re-programing (form & fit). Other companies would requiring retrofitting and testing multiple units, costing the government much more time and labor.� (I)����������� This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice and in accordance with the simplified acquisition procedures authorized in FAR Part 13. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. (II)��������� This solicitation is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ).� Submit written quotes on RFQ Number NRMJ30002100827SRG. (III)������� The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-05 (MAR 2021) (DEVIATION 2020-11) (AUG 2017). (IV)�������� This solicitation is being issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside. The associated NAICS code is 334516.� The small business size standard is 1000 employees. (V)��������� This combined solicitation/synopsis is for purchase of the following commercial requirement: CLIN 0001: Quantity of 1 (one) PURCHASE OF QUANTITY OF 1 DIRECT DROP-IN REPLACEMENT NI DATA SYSTEM Pricing to include all costs for requirement listed including the shipping.
