Description
This is a sources sought notice for information and planning purposes and shall not be construed as an obligation on the part of the VA. The purpose of this sources sought is to identify qualified businesses, including Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran-Owned Small Business (VOSB), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone) Small Business, 8a Small Business and Small Business concerns that are interested in and are capable of performing the work described herein. Your responses to the sources sought will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method, including whether a set-aside is possible. Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 21 will be issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ) to award a contract (base plus four (4) option years) for the following Radiometer reagents that are compatible with the Radiometer ABL90 Blood Gas Analyzer. The contractor will provide a standing supply monthly. Description of items needed and estimated yearly quantities are as follows: - ABL90 Solution Pack; Qty 26 - ABL90 SC 300/30 bg lyt oxy; Qty 26 - S7770 tHB Calibrating Solution; Qty 2 - Thermal paper/ABL7xx; Qty 6 - Linearity Verification Kit; Qty 4 - Inlet gasket with holder ABL 90; Qty 2 - S7730 Qualicheck 5+, level 1 Qty 2 - S7740 Qualicheck 5+, level 2 Qty 2 - S7750 Qualicheck 5+, level 3 Qty 2 The contractor shall provide the Laboratory with reagents and parts to perform testing on the ABL90 blood gas analyzer. The reagents should be ready to use with no or minimal preparation by staff. The assay must be FDA approved. The government intends to award one firm fixed price contract. The NAICS code is 334516 and the corresponding size standard is 1,000 employees. Interested businesses shall send by email only, the following information: Socio-Economic Category, DUNS number, number of employees, and business capabilities that includes relevant experience. In addition, does your company manufacture the requested product? If not, can your company provide the requested products from a small business (defined by the Small Business Administration)?
