- WATT STREET HOUSING RENOVATIONS - BATTLE MOUNTAIN The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Nevada State Office has a requirement for the remodel of government owned housing units located in Battle Mountain, NV. The work includes general remodel work including plumbing, bathroom upgrades, flooring, doors, electrical and light fixtures, painting, siding, concrete, etc. as identified in the solicitation package. The base contract will include three units with the option to add up to an additional three units based on availability of funds at time of award. Options, if selected, will be exercised, and awarded with the base contract and all work will be completed within the same period of performance. The project is located in Lander County, Nevada. Construction Wage Rate Requirements are applicable to this project and the appropriate DBA Wage Decision(s) will be included in the solicitation. A site visit is scheduled for August 18, 2021 and is HIGHLY recommended. Full details regarding the Site Visit, including the location, date, time, and RSVP point of contact is included in this solicitation. The BLM anticipates issuing a single firm fixed price award from this solicitation. The competitive solicitation, 140L3921R0011, will be in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 19.5, Set-Asides for Small Business. The NAICS code for this acquisition is 236118, Residential Remodelers and the size standard is $39.5M (per the SBA's Table of Small Business Size Standards). In accordance with FAR 36.204 the Disclosure of the Magnitude of this construction project is between $250,000.00 and $500,000.00. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered, and currently active, and complete the online Representations and Certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base via website: http://www.sam.gov. Award will be based on Best Value to the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror(s). This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs.
