Description

Notice of Intent to Sole Source Regional Health Contracting Office-Central, Joint Base San Antonio-Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source contract to Globus Medical Supply for manufactured titanium neurosurgical products and implants. Globus Medical Supply is the only vendor of neuro-spine implants and products made from titanium and compatible with other spine systems. Globus Medical titanium neurosurgical products and implants supports the patients with nickel allergies. The titanium neurosurgical products and implants will allow the surgeons to use the cages, rods, and screws with pre-existing hardware the patient has implanted. Globus Medical Supply has no authorized distributors. As a result, this requirement will be sole sourced to Globus Medical Supply Cage: 339U6 2560 General Armistead Ave Audubon, Pennsylvania 19403. This will be awarded under the authority FAR 13.501(a)(1)(ii), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items. �Award will be made on or about 06 September 2021. The primary NAICS code for the requirement is 339113 with a size standard of 750 employees. This notice is neither a request for quotes nor a solicitation of offers; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency for future requirements.
