- Presolicitation Notice The purpose of this amendment is to provide RFI response 1 and to correct the presolicitation notice from references in the document from sources sought notice to presoliciation notice . This presolicitation notice is a request for 330s. See the following corrections: Change Relevant: refers to projects of similar size, scope, and complexity to the Sources Sought Notice and include similarity of service/support, complexity; dollar value, contract type, and degree of subcontract/teaming. Work on these projects must have been in the last five years (2016 2021). Indicate how each project is relevant to the A/E IDIQ Tasks described. Specialized experience in construction period services to include professional field inspections during the construction period, review of construction submittals, support in answering requests for information during the construction period, and support of construction contract changes to include drafting statements of work, and cost estimates is included as evaluation criterion. To read, SF330 Submission Requirements: Responses shall reference the Presolicitation notice number assigned to this procurement on the subject line of the email submission. 36C10F21R0041 RFI RESPONSE RFI NUMBER RFI RESPONSE 1 Are you looking for project experiences ranging in magnitude of up to $5,000,000.00 or over $20,000,000.00? Please Advise. Confused about the following: ""Contract Information"" ""This VA office administers major projects for the VA in the Central Region. A major project is defined as a project over $20,000,000. The firm(s) selected need to have an experienced multidisciplinary design team in either the governmental or commercial sector for projects of this magnitude or larger."" ""This contract will have a base period of one (1) year and (4) four one-year option periods at the discretion of the Government. The minimum guarantee amount for the base period is $2,000, with a maximum amount of $25,000,000 over the life of the contract period."" ""The minimum order shall not be below $2,000 and the maximum single order shall not be greater than $5,000,000."" The $20M threshold is for construction projects and the $5M threshold is for task order limitation. Firms should provide experience for construction projects over $20M and contracts for $5M. The $20M minimum is a meant to describe the minimum size overall construction project value (not a design contract cost) that would be considered relevant. For this purpose, a project s value would not be limited to design cost and would typically include all project elements, such as design, commissioning, construction, etc., and is communicated to define the minimum project size that would be considered relevant. The $5M maximum is meant to communicate the task order limit for an individual task order, which means that no individual order for design, study, review, or other services to be provided under the contract will exceed this value for an individual order. The $25M limit is meant to communicate that the total of all orders awarded under the contract for an individual offeror will not exceed this value.
