- Amendment 1: �The purpose of Amendment 1 to the Combined Synopsis/Solicitation posted on 29 July 2021 is to provide answers to interested vendors� questions (see Attachment 4 � Answers to Interested Vendors� Questions), as well as, provide an updated Combined Synopsis_Solicitation � ODS Various Metals For Training; an updated Attachment 1 � Product Specifications; an updated Attachment 2 � Price List; and an updated Attachment 3 � Blanket Purchase Agreement Specifications.� All changes within the attachments are highlighted in blue.� Please note that the ordering period has been changed to one (1) year, on or about 25 August 2021 through 24 August 2022. This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition (FAR) Subpart 12.6 (reference https://www.acquisition.gov/) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). Requirement: The US Army Ordnance School (ODS), Track, Metalworking and Recovery Department, Fort Lee, Virginia, requires various steel and aluminum supplies to conduct machinist and welding training.� For further details, please see Attachment 1 - Product Specifications. Set-Aside:� This requirement is solicited as full and open, no set-aside is designated, with the applicable NAICS Code of 331110 � Iron and Steel Mills and Ferroalloy Manufacturing with a size standard of 1,500 employees. RFQ Details: The Government intends on awarding Multiple Award Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs) as a result of this solicitation. The ordering period will be for one (1) year, on or about 25 August 2021 through 24 August 2022. For further details, please see Attachment 1 � Product Specifications, Attachment 2 � Price List, and Attachment 3 � Blanket Purchase Agreement Specifications. RFQ Questions Deadline: All questions must be emailed to Emily L. Wood, Contract Specialist, and Laura L. Houser, Contracting Officer, and received no later than 1:00 PM ET on 5 August 2021. No telephonic request(s) or questions will be entertained. All questions and responses shall be through email.
