Description
This is a Combined Synopsis/Solicitation is for BRAND NAME Polar Trac GM7210, as prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A firm-fixed price FSS, GSA purchase order is anticipated. (i) The solicitation number is 36C24421Q0540 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). (iii) The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2021-05 dated 03/10/2021. (iv) This solicitation is A 100% set aside for Serviced-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses and the associated NAICS code 333112 as a small business size standard of 1000. (IV) Schedule of Requirement/CLINS (v) Statement of Work Statement of Work: BRAND NAME Statement of Work BRAND NAME ONLY POLAR TRAC MACHINE TORO 7210 POLAR TRAC MACHINE History/Background/Purpose: BRAND NAME This purchase is to replace in-kind Toro 3280-D Groundmaster mower. This equipment will be used in day to day operations in the function of maintaining the 80+ acre grounds and buildings. This will be used in the capacity of snow removal, particularly on sidewalks. The tracks protect sidewalks and curbs from becoming damaged. Detailed Description: This equipment is read for winter conditions with its heated hard cab, rubber track system and quick connect attachments. With its zero-turn radius capabilities, operators can remove snow from tight areas. It has patent-pending rubber snow tracks for maneuverability. This requirement is brand name or equal. The Polar Trac GM7210 has the following specific features that are superior to other mower/snowplow combinations: The articulating rubber track system maximizes traction. The spacious ROPF-certified cab offers large windows for clear visibility of attachments and surrounding. The zero-turn stick operation, easy two-pedal attachment controls and deluxe suspension seat ensure operator comfort and reduced fatigue. This equipment is suited for all types of wintry storms. The all-season machine s hard cab is heated and pressurized. Also has tinted glass and includes heater/pressurizer, front wiper, dome light, upholstered interior, floor mat and rubber isolator mounts. The cab lighting system includes a cab light, work/road lights, turn signals, flashers, and tail lamps. Controls and attachment controls include two-foot pedals. Left pedal: raise/lower/hold float; right pedal: attachment angle control right/left. This machine has the ability to turn 180 degrees within an 8-foot diameter not including the front attachment. Deliverables: Toro GM7210 (No deck), 12 V Power Port/Electrical Accessory Kit, Polar Trac Cab, Polar Trac Kit, Boss plow side kit, and Boss 5-foot straight plow blade. Delivery Requirements: Deliver to VA Butler Healthcare, 325 New Castle Road, Butler, PA 16001. Receiving: Building #47 warehouse. Monday thru Friday 0800 to 1600. This procurement is for new OEM medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts) for VA Medical Centers. No remanufacturers or gray market items will be acceptable. Vendor shall be an OEM, authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment (i.e. replacement parts), verified by an authorization letter or other documents from the OEM, such that the OEM s warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty, and service associated with the medical supplies, medical equipment and/or services contracts for maintenance of medical equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions. The delivery of gray market items to the VA in the fulfillment of an order/award constitutes a breach of contract. Accordingly, the VA reserves the right to enforce any of its contractual remedies. This includes termination of the contract or, solely at the VA s election, allowing the Vendor to replace, at no cost to the Government, any remanufactured or gray market item(s) delivered to a VA medical facility upon discovery of such items.
