- CONEX TRAILER REMODEL AND RELOCATION INTRODUCTION This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations/proposals are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2021-06, effective 07/12/2021. This acquisition is open to full and open competition. DESCRIPTION The US Geological Survey, Western Ecological Research Center, requires a conex trailer remodel and relocation as described in the attached Statement of Work. The trailer is located in Boulder City, NV and must be transported to Ft. Irwin, CA after completion of the remodel. RELEVENT INFORMATION The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 238990 - All Other Specialty Trade Contractors and associated size standard of $15.0 million apply to this announcement, along with Product Service Code N056 - Installation of Equipment - Construction and Building Materials. Quotes shall only be accepted through electronic mail addressed to the Contracting Officer at capplegate@usgs.gov. All proposal documents required by this solicitation must be uploaded and received in their entirety no later than 08/19/2021 at 1700 PDT. Proposals submitted by hardcopy or any web portal shall not be accepted or considered. All questions must be sent directly to capplegate@usgs.gov by 08/16/2021 at 1200 PDT. Offerers are to include a technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements in the solicitation as seen in the Evaluation Factors as seen in the Attachment. This may include product literature, references, or other documents, if necessary.
