- The Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky has a requirement for a contractor to complete project: Site Preparation SPS Water Treatment in accordance with the Statement of Work, Project Specifications and Drawings to be provided upon the posting of the solicitation. The contractor shall provide construction site preparation services for the installation of a water treatment system (WTS) for Sterile Processing Services (SPS). Work includes demolition of unused VA equipment, plumbing, electrical, fire stopping, final equipment connection, and equipment startup. The WTS to be provided, delivered, and installed by others (EVOQUA Water Technologies). Final connections and equipment start up shall be done by the contractor in coordination with the WTS equipment vendor and VA Engineer. This will be a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns under the authority of 38 U.S.C section 8127 (d). NAICS code 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, is applicable to this requirement. The small business size standard is $39.5M. The estimated range of construction is Between $100,000 and $250,000. This requirement will be procured in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 15.101-2 Lowest Price Technically Acceptable.
