Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Federal Bureau of Prisons, FCI Pekin, IL is issuing solicitation 15B41121Q00000012 as a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the requirement of Landfill Services for (1) base year and up to (4) option years .� The Government intends to establish an indefinite-delivery, requirements type contract with firm-fixed price unit pricing.� The requirement will be solicited on an UNRESTRICTED basis. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 562212, Solid Waste Landfill, 38.5 million.� The prospective contractor landfill site shall be located within a 25 mile radius of FCI Pekin located at 2600 S. 2nd St. Pekin, IL 61554.� This acquisition is being procured in accordance with FAR Part 12 - Acquisition of Commercial Items and Part 13 - Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The Government intends to evaluate offers and award a contract without discussions with offerors. Therefore, the offeror�s initial offer should contain the offeror�s best terms from a price and technical standpoint. The Government will award to the responsible offeror whose quote represents the best value to the government based upon price, technical, and past performance.� The Government reserves the right to require the quoter to submit additional information as necessary to support a pre-award determination of responsibility.� The contract award will be made in September 2021. The quantity of 850 tons of waste per year is an estimate and not a representation to an offeror or prospective contractor that said quantity will be required.� FCI Pekin has its own trucks and will deliver solid waste in accordance with the Statement of Work to the prospective contractor landfill facility once access is granted to the Government after contract award. All future information about this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this site www.beta.SAM.gov. The deadline for receipt of quotes is on or before September 01, 2021 at 4:00 p.m. Central Standard Time.� Quotes will be sent via e-mail to (Gkurtz@bop.gov).� Quotes received after closing date and time will not be considered. The Contracting Officer will verify registration prior to award by entering the potential awardee's DUNS number at www.beta.SAM.gov database. **Offerors shall return the completed RFQ document and business management questionnaire when making submissions.� Failure to do so will result in the vendor being considered non-responsive and the quote being discarded**
