Description

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Marine Fisheries Service (NMFS), on behalf of the Northeast Fisheries Science Center (NEFSC) Woods Hole, Massachusetts, requires the delivery and installation of a saltwater aquarium display tank, with a delivery date of no later than December 15,�2021 as specified in the solicitation and statement of need. The NAICS code is 712130.� The solicitation will be issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) on an UNRESTRICTED basis, and incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2021-06, effective July 12, 2021.� INTERESTED PARTIES ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR MONITORING THIS WEBSITE FOR CHANGES TO THIS NOTICE.� The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract to the contractor whose offer represents the lowest price technically acceptable. RFQ will be available on or about� August 10, 2021,�in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 13 via the System for Award Management (SAM) website at www.sam.gov .� The solicitation number is 1333F�21�Q�NFFM-0045? Hard copies of the RFQ will not be issued. It is incumbent upon the contractors to monitor the System for Award Management (SAM) site (Contract Opportunities) for the solicitation release and all subsequent amendments. The anticipated award date will be on July 13, 2021. This acquisition will be awarded as a firm fixed price order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 12 (Commercial Acquisition) and FAR Part 13 (Simplified Acquisition)). All responsible small business sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency. Paper copies of the solicitation WILL NOT be furnished. A solicitation mailing list will not be maintained for this procurement. Inquiries will only be addressed by email.
