- SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE FOR NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER PHILADELPHIA DIVISION (NSWCPD) SUBJECT:� 501-K34 Blades and Vanes Repair Specification Development �� THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL.� It is a market research tool being used to determine potential and eligible firms capable of providing the supplies/services described herein prior to determining the method of acquisition. Delivery � One year after contract award. Personnel Security Clearance � N/A Work Location Requirements � To be completed at Contractor�s site. Scope � The Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD), Code 424 is seeking sources to provide 501-K34 Blades and Vanes Repair Specification Development. The Contractor will be provided multiple row 1 blade and vane segments that are deteriorated beyond current repairable limits. The Government intends to send one (1) full engine set to the resultant Contractor for specification development and repair. The contractor shall assess the parts and then develop and execute repairs, as required. The provided parts will vary in their degree of deterioration so there may be multiple repair procedures for each type of part. The completed deliverable will include revised repair limits, comprehensive repair procedures and repaired parts that can be installed in an engine. The goal of this contract is to provide the Government with a full repair specification for these deteriorated blades and vane segments. In addition, the contractor shall perform the repair and return the blades and vanes back to the Government. All parts that are determined to be beyond economical repair shall be returned to NSWCPD.�� The contactor shall also report on the cost to execute each repair procedure.� The entire project is to be documented in a final, comprehensive report that addresses every aspect of the contract. Any components provided to the contractor will be returned by 365 days from contract award. Capability Statements: Interested companies are invited to submit capability statements, demonstrating their ability to fulfill this requirement. Capability Statements must address, at a minimum the following: Section 1: Introduction.� Identify the Sources Sought Number and Title Section 2: Corporate Description.� Name of Company and address Ownership, including whether: Small, Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), 8(a), Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), HUBZone, or Service Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) Points of contact, including: Name, title, phone, and e-mail address CAGE Code and DUNS Number �(1) A complete description of the Offeror�s capabilities (including technical, program management, prototyping, etc.) related experience, facilities, techniques, or unique combination of factors that would directly relate to the Government�s objectives. (2) The qualifications, capabilities, and experiences of Contractor employees, who would be available to support this effort, Section 3. Ability to Meet Requirements: Specific details regarding the Contractor�s ability to provide 501-K34 Blade and Vane Repair Specification Development to meet the needs of the Government. Responses shall discuss how the Contractor�s product/service will meet the Government�s requirement found in the scope.
