- Description
- The Government�s requirement is for the procurement of Aviation Maintenance Assessment Team (MAT) Support services on Camp Foster, Okinawa Japan and supported Marine Corps Installations Pacific (MICPAC) locations in support of 1st Marine Aircraft Wing (1stMAW), III Marine Expeditionary Force (III MEF). 1stMAW requires on-site support in the realm of conducting maintenance assessments on Intermediate and Organizational unit Naval Aviation Maintenance Programs/Area and conducting Material Condition Inspections (MCI) on a pre-determined percentage of assigned aircraft, in accordance with the Naval Aviation Maintenance Program (NAMP).� The aircraft in need of support are Type/ Model/ Series F-35B, FA-18D, KC-130J, CH-53E, AH-1Z, UH-1Y, MV-22B, and RQ-21A. The support services are critical to the readiness of 1stMAW�s assets and personnel. This is a commercial item requirement using Simplified Acquisition Procedures under FAR part 12 and 13, respectively.�The Government does not intend to pursue a set aside.� The Government contemplates award of an Indefinite-Quantity Requirements contract resulting from this solicitation.�Any services to be furnished under this contract shall be ordered by issuance of delivery orders or task orders by the individuals or activities designated in the Schedule. Such orders may be issued from 28 September 2021 through 27 September 2026. The question and answer (Q&A) period for�this Solicitation closes on 1 September 2021 at 15:00 Japan Standard time. An amendment will be published on www.sam.gov answering all submitted questions after the Q&A period closes.�
