- Description
- Perform Quality Assurance (QA) duties on the construction of a partial-depth barrier wall through approximately 4.5 miles of the Moose Creek Dam (MCD) embankment consisting of soil-cement-bentonite material in North Pole, AK. This contract is to establish a validated material testing laboratory at the MCD Safety Modification project staging area to support field inspections, perform material sampling and perform testing required to independently monitor the soil-cement-bentonite and soils work for the duration of the project. Contractor will supply all labor, equipment and materials to perform the services described herein. The general scope of services to be provided must include, but not limited to, establishment of the physical structure for the QA materials testing laboratory and office including site preparation and temporary utilities, materials testing laboratory development to include equipment, QA processes, QA manual, and successful lab validation by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Engineering Research and Development Center (ERDC).
