Description

Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) Fort Gordon intends to issue a sole source, firm-fixed price award to� Applied Rigaku Technologies, Inc. 9825 Spectrum Dr. Bldg. 4, Ste 475 Austin, TX 78717� Cage Code 5ZLU8 IAW FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). The justification for the sole source is Applied Rigaku Technologies is the manufacturer and sole authorized company for Rigaku shipping containers. The NAICS code is 334516. The authority for this non-competitive award is 10 USC 2304(c) (1), Only One Responsible Source. The Government intends to procure this sole source requirement under Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR part 13 and Commercial procedures in FAR part 12. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS and a solicitation will not be issued. Interested concerns must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. If no affirmative written responses are received by 1000 am EST, Monday 16 Aug 2021, an award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement is solely within the discretion of the government.
