- FIRE PREVENTION MESSAGING The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is seeking to advertise fire prevention messaging at gas stations and convenience stores to educate local communities, recreationalist/visitors (boaters, hikers, campers, hunters) passing through or stopping to recreate/visit public lands across the west. There are many options that can be explored to help amplify the fire education and awareness message associated with partnering to a gas company: � Utilize the advertisements/PSAs at the pump stations to visually and verbally provide fire prevention messages that are pertain to a specific theme (Wildfire Awareness Month, fireworks � July, etc.). � Displays inside the store as well as utilize the TV monitors (same message as on the gas pumps). � Social media interactions on Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram. The Solicitation will include contract documents with details of the project when it is released. The place of performance will be company gas station pumps, convenience stores and social media platforms across, but not limited to, the Great Basin States (ID, NV, UT). The BLM will issue a Full and Open Competition solicitation on/about August 26, 2021. The BLM anticipates issuing a single firm fixed price award from this solicitation. A Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation package will be available electronically on or about Thursday August 26, 2021 at the SAM website located at www.sam.gov. Proposals will be due no later than Friday September 10, 2021. Potential offerors are responsible for monitoring www.sam.gov for the release of the solicitation package, for any other pertinent information, and for downloading a complete copy of the solicitation package. The government will not provide paper copies of the solicitation. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be registered, and currently active, and complete the online Representations and Certification in the System for Award Management (SAM) data base via website: http://www.sam.gov. Award will be based on Best Value to the Government in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR). The Government reserves the right to award a contract to other than the low offeror(s). This notice does not obligate the government to award a contract nor does it obligate the government to pay for any proposal preparation costs. The primary Point of Contact is Matthew B.
