Description
The USPFO for South Carolina intends to issue an Invitation for Bid to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for the renovation of the two hanger floors on base. The USPFO for South Carolina intends to issue an Invitation for Bid to award a single firm fixed-price contract for services, non-personal, to provide all plant, labor, transportation, materials, tools, equipment, appliances and supervision necessary for repairs to repair and refurbish the Hanger Floor. The scope of this project is to repair and paint our hangar floors in a 4 phase project. The project scope includes but is not limited to having two hangar floors completely surface grinded and all divots, cracks and joint lines patched as required. Both hanger floors will need to be painted IAW with Statement of Work to meet UFC and Air Force requirements. In addition, local materials and construction techniques shall be used where cost effective.� The work is located at McEntire Joint National Guard Base (ANG) near Eastover in Richland County, South Carolina.�� This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 238320, with a size standard of $16,500,000.00. The magnitude of the project is between $250,000 and $500,000. The contract duration is 45 days after the notice to proceed is issued. Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14(b) (4) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least fifteen percent (15%) of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own workforce. The tentative date for issuing the solicitation is on-or about 16 August 2021. The date for the pre-bid conference will be included in the solicitation.� A site visit will follow the pre-bid conference and no requests to visit the jobsite will be considered prior to the conference. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements included in the solicitation. The exact bid opening date is not yet known and will also be identified in the solicitation. Interested offerors must be registered in SAM. To register go to: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.
