- Description
- Army Contracting Command-Detroit (ATTN: R&D Services Branch Lab & Tech Support CCTA-HDT-D) has a requirement for the installation and commissioning of the capability to perform Ve over the frequency range of 1 MHz to 18 GHz at electric field strengths up to 200 V/m.� This capability will be implemented using Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS) test equipment, instrumentation, software, and ancillary equipment.� The intent is to support the U.S. Army Combat Capabilities Development Command Ground Vehicle Systems Center (CCDC GVSC) Vehicle Electronics and Architecture (VEA) group in adding the capability to perform radiated susceptibility (RS) testing in their Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) Laboratory.� This testing will be performed IAW MIL-STD-461G RS103 to support developmental test and evaluation of Line Replaceable Units (LRU) and other electrical/electronic components and subsystems.� GVSC-VEA wants to procure this capability in specific frequency increments, leading up to the full frequency range of RS103.� The RS103 Test System shall meet all of the Threshold requirements outlined in the solicitation scope of work.� A test report shall be provided to document the verification that the RS103 Test System meets all threshold requirements in this subsection which require analysis and/or testing.� This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The projected period of performance is four (4) months.� This notice of proposed contractual action is posted in accordance with FAR 5.207 and responses to this notice must be received no later than 13:00 P.M, eastern local time, Detroit, MI, 23 August 2021.� This notice of intent is a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation of offers.
