- Description
- The United States Coast Guard is seeking contractors interested in submitting proposals for the manufacture, testing and delivery of Day board Film (colored elastomeric and non-reflectorized fluorescent films) for use as sign face materials on aids to navigation.� All films are to be manufactured in accordance with the attached USCG Specification 473B dated March 2021. This is a Sources Sought/Market Survey announcement seeking companies that can provide all necessary materials, labor, equipment, and testing to fabricate and deliver Day board Film (colored elastomeric and non-reflectorized fluorescent films) for use a sign face material on Marine Aids to Navigation. �The Government anticipates issuing a single solicitation, which will result in the award of an Indefinite Delivery Requirements (IDR) - Firm Fixed Price contract. The period of performance is anticipated to be a one year Base Period with four one year Option Periods (not to exceed 60 months if all option periods are exercised by the Government).� The performance period of the contract is anticipated to start on/or about September 2021.� The applicable North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 326130, Sheet, Laminated Plastics (except flexible packaging) Manufacturing.� The Small Business Size Standard is 500 employees.� A small business set-aside determination will be made based upon the results of this Sources Sought notice (i.e. if enough small business interest indicate that a set-aside for small business will result in an adequate number of responses for competition purposes). All interested sources, small or other than small, are requested to complete and return the attached Questionnaire by August 19, 2021, no later than 3:00 p.m. via email to Barbara.T.Spruill@uscg.mil.
