- This is a notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract to ScriptPro, USA Inc. Network Contracting Office 8 (NCO 8) intends to award a firm fixed price sole source contract under the authority 41 U.S.C.3304(a)(1) Use of noncompetitive procedures and FAR 8.405-6(a)(1)(B), Only one source is capable of providing the supplies or services required at the level of quality required because the supplies or services are unique or highly specialized. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance and the Small Business Association (SBA) size standards is $22.0 Million. The Product Service Code (PSC) for this acquisition is J065, Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment-Medical, Dental, and Veterinary Equipment and Supplies. A task order shall be issued against the Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract number 36F79719D0135, SIN A-92 and A-200. The purpose of this intent to sole source is to provide an efficient procurement vehicle for support and maintenance of the existing ScriptPro Robotic Prescription Dispensing System (SRPDS) at the Orlando VA Medical Center at Lake Baldwin, Viera VA Health Care Center and the William V. Chappell Jr., Multispecialty Community Base Outpatient Clinic. Awarding the proposed contract to another source would require replacing the currently installed SRPDS which would be a substantial cost to the government. A determination not to compete this proposed contract upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Verbal responses are not acceptable and will not be considered. If no responses have been received in response to this announcement on or before 12:00 PM EST on August 19, 2021, NCO 8 shall negotiate solely with ScriptPro USA Inc.
