- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Office of Minority Health and Health Equity intends to award a sole source firm-fixed price contract for ""Public Health Reports Supplement"" to , The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH), 16156 ST NW STE 510, Washington, DC 20036. The statutory authority for this sole source acquisition is U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1) in accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. The NAICS code for this procurement is 51119 Other Publishers. This acquisition is a follow-on for the CDC Strategies for Reducing Health Disparities � Selected CDC-sponsored interventions, United States reports published in 2014 and 2016.� The Public Health Reports (PHR) is the official journal of the U.S. Surgeon General and the U.S. Public Health Service. Currently, PHR is published by SAGE Publishing Inc., through an agreement with the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health (ASPPH). This peer-reviewed public health journal publishes articles every other month on public health practice, research, training, and writing. PHR also publishes ""Surgeon General's Perspectives"", in which the U.S. Surgeon General discusses important national public health issues.� PHR is the official journal of the Office of the Surgeon General and offers supplemental organizers promotional opportunities via the Surgeon General's social media accounts. The PHR's unique publishing partnership model offers organizers access to marketing resources of CDC/HHS, ASPPH and SAGE Publishing, Inc. Interested parties who believe they possess the capability to satisfy this requirement should submit a capability statement demonstrating their ability to meet the requirement. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
