- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center, Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure a Firm Fixed Price contract to provide for the replacement of the anechoic foam on the floor, ceiling, and 3 walls of the 50ft x 40ft x 40ft rectangular portion of the tapered VHF Anechoic Chamber. This project is also to include replacing the anechoic foam in the 31ft truncated pyramidal transition from the rectangular chamber to the conical throat. The contractor shall be responsible for providing all materials, labor, and support equipment for removal of the existing anechoic foam. The contractor shall be responsible for proper and safe disposal of all existing anechoic foam. The contractor shall supply new anechoic material for the floor, ceiling, side walls, and rear wall of the anechoic chamber. The contractor shall provide the materials, labor, and support equipment required for installation of the new material. The contractor shall provide the materials, labor, and support equipment required for acceptance testing of the chamber after the new anechoic material has been installed. Written responses shall be submitted by e-mail to the point of contact listed below or mailed to the Contracting Office Address listed below no later than 30 days from this notice date. Per FAR 6.102(b), this procurement will use competitive procedures underfull and open competition. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/.� Contractors must be certified through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS) in order to access Controlled Unclassified Information within FBO.� See the DLIS website for registration details: https://public.logisticsinformationservice.dla.mil/jcp/search.aspx Going forward, all new entities registering in GSA's System for Award Management (SAM), as well as existing registrations being updated or renewed, will require the submission of an original, signed notarized letter identifying the authorized Entity Administrator for the entity associated with the Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number before the registration will be activated.� It is recommended that all interested parties be aware that processing this additional information may take several days and are proactive in maintaining the SAM registrations in an ""Active"" status as the government cannot award to an entity without an ""Active"" SAM registration.� More information can be found at www.gsa.gov/samupdate.
