- Description
- The purpose of this Performance Work Statement (PWS) is to partner with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Administration for Children and Families (ACF), Office of Child Care (OCC), to provide the needed technical assistance for Child Care and Development Fund (CCDF) state and territory grantees� successful implementation and continued administration of the requirements of the Child Care and Development Block Grant (CCDBG) Act of 2014 and the accompanying regulations published in 2016. The goal of the National Center on Early Care and Education Quality Assurance, NCECQA, birth through school age, (B through 12) will promote: 1). Improve access to affordable high quality early care and education (ECE), programs for parents� as a work/education/ training participation support and 2). Support children�s healthy development, wellness, school readiness and learning, in all ECE settings/programs that allow them to thrive and succeed. The NCECQA will provide resources, training, and technical assistance to state, territory, and tribal Child Care Development Fund (CCDF) Lead Agencies, agencies, Office of Head Start, Maternal Child Health Bureau programs and other ECE partners across regions to support the implementation of rigorous health, safety and licensing standards, promote best practices, improve and align ECE quality improvement system level infrastructure, including Quality Rating Improvement Systems (QRIS).
