Western Regional Office, 2824 Columbia Street, Torrance, CA 90503, USA Posted Date: 08/16/2021 Procurement Office: Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD), 12300 Dakota Avenue, Lakewood, Colorado 80228 Response Due Date: 08/17/2021 by 6:00PM MDT. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSIS: Department of Transportation (DOT), Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Central Federal Lands Highway Division (CFLHD), intends to award a sole source contract to Anton Paar under FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, and FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures, and pursuant to FAR 13.106-1(b), Soliciting from a Single Source, under the North American Industry Classification System code (NACIS) 423490 Size Standard of 500.� The proposed procurement is for the purchase of Dynamic Shear Rheometer. All responsible sources that feel they should be considered qualified to provide the above-mentioned purchase may submit a response to this notice (by the response due date shown above) to Chinh.Le@dot.gov.� Information furnished shall include detailed (and relevant) documentation to allow the government to perform adequate market research and make a proper determination. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed requirement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.� Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
